Illustrated Guide to the Trees of Peru

Date: * 15/09/2004

New publication

The Global Trees Campaign is pleased to be associated with an impressive new publication, Illustrated Guide to the Trees of Peru. Written by T.D. Pennington, C. Reynel and A. Daza, this is the first comprehensive generic account of the Peruvian tree flora, one of the richest in the world. The book will be an essential guide for students, botanists, foresters and tourists - and, of course, those involved in tree Red Listing! Although designed for Peru, it will also be valuable in other Andean countries, such as Ecuador and Bolivia, which share many of the same tree species. The book is published by Global Tree Specialist Group member, Dr David Hunt.
