Overall, 8,753 tree species - approximately 10% of the world's
total - are listed as globally threatened. The Global Trees Campaign is identifying
and supporting actions to save them.
You can support the Campaign by:
- Using wood and paper wisely and recycling both;
- Buying wood products only from forests certified to the standards of the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC);
- Planting native trees;
- Providing information for the Website on endangered tree and conservation actions;
- Supporting local initiatives to save endangered trees and their habitats;
- Making a donation.
